Our December Artist Spotlight, Sar, came by Electric Studios for an epic photoshoot. We played around with different lighting and reflection techniques, check out the full photo gallery below.
Sarah Guarino is a published model and photographer, who recognizes that her diverse skill set plays off each other. She knows how to pose her models because she's often in their shoes.
Sar is well known for her activism in the Diabetes community, and bridging the gap for models to feel more comfortable showing medical technology in their work. Her success comes from owning who she is and being a light for others with chronic illness to have the same confidence.
I love how Sar's radiant energy comes through in everything she does! We had so much fun playing around with different lightning, and a moody outfit change.
One of my *favorite* techniques while behind the camera is using motion blur to capture the raw energy and movement from a model.
