Taking the Leap: Officially a Full-time Contemporary Artist in Miami

Woman in a striped outfit stands arms crossed in an art studio. Behind her are collages and graffiti art with "Kill Your Ego" in bold text.

After years of balancing creative work with other commitments, I'm stepping fully into my purpose as a full-time contemporary artist here in Miami. This decision came from recognizing that my Lost Souls series and the broader message behind my art needed more space to grow, and I'm thrilled to see what this next chapter holds.

Embracing my journey as a contemporary artist in Miami

My own experiences the past few months have led me to realize how much we all need art that allows us to feel understood, especially being on a spiritual journey. I've realized it's not just me having insane supernatural experiences, and maybe my art can be the vessel that helps us all understand consciousness and reality in a deeper way.

Miami's art scene has been incredible to witness and be part of over the past few years. From the explosion of creative energy in neighborhoods like Wynwood and Little Haiti to the growing collector base that genuinely understands contemporary spiritual art, this city offers something unique for artists working with consciousness-driven themes. I'm excited to focus more on building community through art and creating spaces where visionaries can find each other.

Exploring Spiritual Themes Through the Lost Souls

Painting of a moon, stars, and two Lost Souls figures in a martini glass against a blue sky. Text reads "I'll see you in the next life..." Surrounded by greenery.

Taking this leap into full-time artistic practice creates space for the Lost Souls series to evolve into a cultural phenomenon. These figures represent themes that resonate across spiritual and philosophical frameworks - the universal human experience of seeking meaning, connection, and transcendence.

The future involves expanding these concepts across different mediums and scales, potentially exploring installation work or public art that brings consciousness-driven themes into community spaces. My first pop-up experience at Studio24 this week marks this exciting shift into culture and community.

Two abstract figures sit in a cozy coffee shop with bookshelves. Text: "WE ARE ALL LOST SOULS." Event on 9/13, 11 AM-5 PM. Hosted by Electric Vizion.

My ultimate goal extends beyond personal artistic success toward contributing to a cultural conversation about meaning, purpose, and the role of art in spiritual development. Stay tuned visionaries... because this is just the beginning.
